Since 1983, the U.S. President has proclaimed a National MED Week observance to recognize the outstanding achievements of minority business enterprises and to honor those corporations and financial institutions that support minority business development. MED Week celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding minority entrepreneurs and leaders and provides a platform for small and minority-owned businesses to learn about business growth strategies, receive premier training and networking opportunities.
